"The sea at night has a special place in the universe. It exists as a point outside of time, with the bright path of the Moon being the only guide. It's always summer there. The dark water creates a repository of memory, immovable, everlasting, inviolable, and, at the same time, universal. Memories come to the surface for a moment to interact with light before sinking again. In the Mediterranean, the night sea shows the way home."
